First day first show!!

I walked towards the cubicle from where I could hear some voices; I guess that was the only cubicle which looked lively in that small jungle of cubicles. As I was about to enter that cubicle with a bit of hesitation, I saw a head popping out from that cubicle; the first thing I noticed was that it looked like that female was on a promotional tour for some toothpaste company. I reassured myself that it was indeed a smile and not an advertisement. Before I could say the sacred word “hello” she asked me if I was a “malu”, again before I could reply in affirmative she herself said “yes we could make it out from your name”. The use of word “we” made me realize that she is not the only creature in that cubicle. I saw a person sitting in a cushioned chair with a head tilted at 30 degrees towards right, he smiled and introduced himself. The first thought that came to my mind after meeting this guy was that for sure he is the active listener of this cubicle because with the other girl at her talking best I couldn’t think of any other option available to him. I asked him from which state he is and he smiled again and looked at the other girl in that cubicle, that was enough motivation for the girl to pop up like a spring and proclaim that it he too is a mallu and is her college-mate, somehow the warmth of that place was catching up on me and I felt more than welcome to first day of my first project. I had developed an instant friendship with those two folks which was going to continue for years to come.
